Pin not worn (damn it, whould have been the cheap option) but peddle hole is bigger:

is it poss to use some kind of epoxy to make the hole on clutch peddle smaller to match up with the size of the pin & master cylinder push rod? (saw this on an MG thread)
The other thought I had was to increase the size of the holes in the push rod to match the bigger holes in the peddle and use a bigger pin?

I know the best solution would be to get a new clutch peddle but I can find one locally and it will cost $10000,00000 to ship one here

any one got a solution>?
Im replacing my slave cylinder and want to fix everything clutch related while im at it

thanks in advance....
Karl

If you really can't get a new one then I'd think you'll be best off completely filling the hole with weld and re-drilling it.

Is this because the hole has been worn? They're usually elongated if they are.

You can expect a bit of movement, the only issue is if it going to break (in which case, enlarging the holes and pin won't be good). Having the hole a little bigger is not a problem really.
