Ive been driving my mini about a month, the past week its just been sat in the garage as ive been driving a van while my dads in cambodia. i took it out today to give it a wash and ive noticed its started to rust around the headlights( not on the paint) and undernief the lights where the panels meet (only on one side though).
before I owned it, it had never seen a wet road at all, so all this has happened in the past month!
does anyone know any ways to help fight against rust/repair it?
I want to get it in its early stages while its only minor.
Please no silly responses like "store it in space" blah blah blah.
All the best
Tom

not yet, I was going to as soon as I had some time off work (in a weeks time), also was waiting for a bit of time of work incase I had to leave it with them, will the waxyoil still help or just trap the rust in?

I would have said that it has been rusty prior to you owning it and it has then been repaired. It is now showing itself again. Thats whats hapened to mine. Looked realy good around the head lights when I bought it and now its very rusty on both sides 6months in :nugget:
I've just left it as in april the car is having a total strip and rebuild, removing all the rust.
