As some of you know, I'm currently restoring a 99 mini.
Well, I've been attacking it with a chisel, but am finding it tough to get between the channels. Also, it leaves a mess behind. How do you remove this?
If anybody can tell me how you've gone about it, I'd be very grateful!
Cheers, Steve

i think white spirit gets the mess off, some people heat the soundproofing to make it easier to get off, but then again some say its easier when its cold!

hammer/ chisel then grinder/ twist knot brush.
white spirit is suggested for the waxoyle treatments. Gunk would be a better choice for the sound deadening, but its a rather smelly and time consuming task.
