Any non-standard parts that might be involved with the problem? None yet.

I would like to know where this plunger is on the carb to check fuel/air mixture, I can also only find the idle screw!


The engine isn't running a vacuum advance pipe too, I bought one and connected it between the carb and engine on the inlet and ran it down to the diaphragm and the car ran awful, spluttering all over the place so I removed it. Did I connect it incorrectly or should it not have it?
