I understand......
A 1098 +0.040" Mini pistons = 1132cc
A 1098 +0.040" Imp Pistons = 1251cc
Understood ( I have a +40 1098 myself )
...but...again....what would you need to overbore a 1098 to fit +40 IMP pistons to attain 1251cc ?
( my head hurts now )

+0.040"!!!
If yours is already over bored to the correct size, that's fine.
What do you not get?

To fit the +.040 IMP pistons to a MINI block....the MINI block needs to be bored ~+.135
meaning the IMP bore is larger to begin with...which was my original query.
( I took an Aspirin )
