Jesus! That's a nice collection you too! I have only a couple of corgi minis inc an olympic 2012 one, a L.E Italian Job and a mini 30. But I do collect all sorts of model cars, but had to stop buying them to put money into the mini, and when I 'completed' it I intended to start again, but well I bought another project!! lol

I've been collecting model minis for more than 20 years. I've got in the region of 500, stopped counting years ago but, at last count I had over 400. Most are kept safely in their boxes in storage chests in the loft but, I do have a few on display. Not very good photos but you get the idea

Can you spot 'Taffys' mini?

I think there's about 214 there at the moment and I've probably got another 15 dotted about the house. I've got all the boxes for the Corgi Minis in the loft but don't have any for most of the smaller models.

I reached 1200 and stopped counting. Mostly 1/36 Corgis, but Hotwheels, and other 1/64's are also among my favourite castings.

My bedroom is no longer a mini 'cave', like when I was a Mini-mad 15 year old and Minis were my life, although they still are, theres a lot more going on now... thats for another time, though.

The collection is mostly in boxes, although my bedroom still contains 4 display cases containing favourites such as the LTD Edition Italian job sets, various 1/43 Corgis, Monte Carlo LTD edition, and of course 4 Tamiya Minis RC Minis, M01, 3, 5, and 5 PRO, still 2 left to build.

I'm a mad diecast man in every way, not just Minis. I've a huge Le Mans collection, ranging from the '66 FORD GT40 MKII #6 In 1/18 right up to the latest #45 Chassis Flying Lizards Porsche GTR RSR. Ferraris are close to my heart, a 1/16 Ferrari 355 Challenge LTD to 200 is boxed up in the loft, a very special piece that will one day become a center piece no doubt. Pure Motorsports nostalgia.

Paul has a great collection, and displays them in a great way with Taffy's commemorative Mini in pride of place. Hes also a great poster, and friend.

I saw in mini mag today that they're making a model for the royal wedding. I think it said 500 were being made (May have been 5000).

Those are some nice collections, must be worth a small sum but they definitely look better on your walls :).

I took a little break from everything recently. A few situations that I won't go into on the public forum. I'll fire a PM your way soon sir, we need to catch up. :)

Lots of company's are making models to celebrate the Royal Wedding, most seem to be using a Solido 1/43 casting. They have no place in my collection... nothing interests me less than a Royal wedding. You'll also notice on the Corgi that they are using the newest Mini casting, as seen on the Olympic Mini. Its horrible, the doors are cast shut and its even less appealing than the early 80's lines. Cost cutting..

Anyway, pictures.

This is Argos's most recent Corgi Mini. When you order, you can be 80% certain that you'll receive the Yellow Spike Milligan model. They havn't sold them and have made a right hack of getting the LTD editions out from Corgi. I've given up trying after getting just 1 correct Sir Paul McCartney Mini out of 10 attempts, and all 10 times I have been told that the Mini is "in stock". Its not, and none of the surrounding areas have it either.
