I have to remove this :


But how can i do it? It seems impossible to get it free

it should come free pretty easily,

pull the disc it should come off no probs, if it is a bit stuck give the threaded bit a tap, use a bit of wood to cushion the blow so you dont knacker the thread.

usually if you wiggle the disk it will come out. You need to remove it before you pull the disk off.

another way but want you don't damage it. Spray some wd40 around it. then get a flat screw driver and knock it down, using the screw driver in the split. rotate it a tad and it should pop out

Thanks for your help. Ended up using heat to get it free. I think it was the first time that the washer has been removed since the Mini was built - so it was pretty hard to get off.

But i succeeded in the end
