Hi everyone, i know i keep posting pictures of my mini but as the weather has been good here for the past couple of days i thought i'd share some photos. I removed the arches as it looked very over arched at the front, and i didn't want to cut the wing to allow them to be filled so i thought i try it with them off and it's growing on me.

Looking very nice. Loving all the period rally details. Definitely looks better archless with those wheels.
Would probably raise it a bit at the front if it was me, looks a bit more rally with a bit more arch gap. Would probably do the handling some good aswell by giving it a bit more travel before hitting the bumpstops.
Anyway great work >_<

Thanks for all the great comments. Tim1970 i spotted your car at Brooklands and it looked very good, especially liking the interior. I agree the front could do with highering up a bit as the cones are knackered.
The spots on the front are slr700's and sft700's all on a minispares works lamp bar.

The arch holes aren't too noticable, but on one of the pictures you can see where my old bodykit has marked the paint which doesn't add to the look but there are quite a few holes around. I'll stick with the minilites for now as they complete the rally look more than a set of wellers would for me

Evan.

Cheers mate, glad you like the interior pretty chuffed with how it's come together. I think seeing yours has convinced me i need to put spots and fogs on, look so good. Although it'll have to wait a while as i've got to finish building my engine and a few other jobs.
You got much in the pipeline for yours?

RichardBrown: yours looks nice, i would say 10's are the way to go but your wheels look good. Even some 13's look good but if you want to go for the arches look then 10's or 12's would be your best best.
Tim, i've got a few things lined up like bucket seats (not sure whether to go for the classics or some like sparco evo), john aley type roll cage, mk1/2 bootlid and possibly mk1/2 external hinges. Try and build a 1330 or 1380 engine when i get the funds together. Oh and i need to fit my adjustable bottom arms and buy some negative camber rear brackets as there is a lot of positive camber at the moment which isn't looking that great.
Yeah get some spots and fogs, i wouldn't go without them now.

Evan.

Plans all sound good, more nice classic parts. Look forward to seeing the changes.
I had the same dilema with seats i bought some grp buckets and harnesses and took all of my interior out.
Couple of months later i decided i wanted to put it back to a more classic look inside. Decided to get the cobra cubs and am really pleased with them.
