Got the head off and almost fully stripped (Valve spring compressor on its way). I was wondering if any of the more experienced guys know if the pitting i have found in Cyl 2 looks a bit too far gone ? I know its not ideal without the valves out fully but bear with me
by the way, I am going to be having the head skimmed and the valve seats recut and hardened inserts fitted.
