Hi,
My brake compensator/pressure reducing valve/brake bias valve or any other name it is known by, has packed up there is no brake fluid coming out of the port feeding the rear brake line.
What I want to know is instead of replacing it can I bypass it by linking the top of my dual line master cylinder GMC 227 "yellow tag" to the front brakes and the bottom of master cylinder to the rear brakes and fit a brake bias valve on the rear brake line to adjust for lock up. There by removing the compensator from the system and hopefully getting a more efficient system.
Many Thanks

Nice one, read the Calver corner article. Think I will just bypass the compensator and fit a bias valve.
