Most like the silver one are done in rustoluem ( it) but the green one below that still needs finishing is dulux.

iv got myself some black rustolium to get mine done at some point... got alot of body mods to do before that tho :) just want it done now!

A 2.5l tin (only need about half) of rustoluem is around £50 plus thinners. A 750ml tin of dulux is around the £7 to £14 mark but doesn’t need thinners.

Both about the same to be honest, but solid colours are soooooo much easier than metallics.

would they be able to get me island blue? how do u do u interior and does a sponge and brush not leave marks? a fella down the road offered to roller it for 200quid but i wanted to have a go myself and my dad wants his tractor painted so i thought well i could try it see if it goes well then i tackle my mini :)

Good link about roller painting cars in general.
It's American but the same rules apply... (i.e. it's elbow grease but it's cheap and you CAN achieve a tip top finish).

sounds good i never thought you could do this, i take it you make it metallic with lacquer?

to get metallic u use metallic paint

You could always, paint the dulux on and then clearcoat over the top then wet sand that back and polish, would look like a proper job then too.:)

has anyone done that? how do i laqurer without a spray gun? i mite pay to get it udercoated before i start then start rolling

Rattle cans. I did my roof in rattle cans. Because you are flatting back afterwards does not matter if the finish is a bit orange peeley.
