Hi,

I have recently bought the blue Z Cars R1 Mini that was posted on here over many years and featured in miniworld last June by Dean Chad.

Can anyone help me with a few questions.

The evodash has lost the total miles done in the trip menu, it's only reading 15 miles and according to the manual it'll retain all miles covered since the dash was installed. It had covered 2500 miles six months ago at the MOT in Sept 10. Would a loss of power or a power surge cause this.

Also the fuel gauge is not registering even though the tank is full.

I am having problems with the electric reverse, which was using a Ford Mondeo Turbo Diesel starter motor. The original one blew and I'm having problems getting one that's a good enough fit for the Z Cars frame.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Steve,

Many thanks for the reply. I managed to get a starter motor to fit, similar size to the one that was one and it is working. So fingers crossed it continues to do so.

Is it a Z cars mini you're looking for?

Regards
Geoff
