As this is a small section of a mini I’ve currently been playing with.

Not only is it that thick in filler, but there is also a few layers of metal hiding under it all as well. :P

What dent though?

What someone has done is weld patches over the top of the original panel and then filled it. :)

Haha at andy, I had a clubman which pretty much has wings moulded from filler, someone had obviously seen the price of the new Inge and thought naa stuff if, filler will do.... For about 5 years.

it hate filler too.... both rear quaters were full of it, my rear pannel still has a skim in one corner. both front wings are full of it.

having taken off now, both my rear quaters....the weight saving is noticable by hand... and thats the pannel which was better and that i didnt grind down to the surface! wonder what it would have been like!

so having now replaced the front wings and the rear 1/4's.... must go like hell now :) one can hope
