I posted this in the body section but was ignored so I thought this would be a more appropriate place for the query:

Hello Peeps

I need to get hold of a cover for our car as it has a new home in an underground car park in Valencia at Mrs Flamejobs parent's beach house. I am slightly worried about surface rust as the apartment is near the coast. I seem to remember a classic cover with some kind of desiccant imbedded in it. Has anyone come across this kind of thing?

Also.. where would I get hold of a nice illustrated catalogue with panels in it; the car is going to be re-panelled and resprayed in Spain so I need something to point at and tell the bodyshop which panels I want and which they need so I can order them from the UK to get it all ship shape.

Decessant is not going to do anything about the salt in the air. They just absorb moisture.

@r_sole good idea!

@wardyxxx I suppose so, but the I think it is the combo of the moisture and salt that does it.

The inflatable thing is called a Carcoon (!) and they do make them for cars, as the name suggets. They are often advertised in classic car mags or you could just Google the name.
