HOPEFULLY getting my Mini back soon after quite possibly the longest restoration in history (but that's not for here...) and I'm needing to buy a pair of driving lights for it. It's an original RSP and I'm trying to restore it to its former glory so the horrendous aftermarket spotlight bar has been junked. I'm going to buy a pair of (ludicrously expensive) OEM driving lights - part XBN10008 - but I'm seeing a difference of opinion on the mounting brackets I need for them. From what I have seen, XBN10044 is required for sets of four lights OR the INNER set of two lights, whereas parts XBU100640 and XBU100650 are required for the OUTER set of FOUR lights... however I'm a little confused as the RSP has two lights mounted on the OUTER of the grille (are pairs more usually mounted in the centre?)
Also I'm a little unsure as to what bolts and washers I'll need for the mounts. I guess it might be more clear when I actually get the car back, but I'm just trying to figure out how much my wallet is going to ache in advance, plus I'm running dangerously short of time to order/fit prior to L2B!

Just to clarify, I mean bracket XBU10044, not XBN10044...

From memory, my RSP has a pair of these http://www.minispare...ty=pb&pid=33947 for each of the factory spot lights.

Yeah, the XBU10044s... that looks about right. Annoyingly the place that has the lamps cheapest at the moment appears to be the most expensive for the brackets. C'est la vie...
