Noticed there wasn't a topic in here for somerfords , they are a well known company on the mini scene but just incase anyone has been missing out i thought best to write up a review ! Somerfords are i believe one of the biggest suppliers of gen / non-gen body panels and shells in the uk , offer every panel going from full panels to repair panels . their websites exploded view of the bodyshells split into model and are makes buying panels so easy as sometimes not knowing the panels name but knowing where it goes it all youve got to go on so the exploded views of the shell make it very easy to locate those mystery panels . Prices are all on the website too so helps give a rought idea how many tokens everything is which is always handy .

I order panels for customer cars and my own personal cars from them , ive never had a problem with any of their panels and where there has been the problem of me being a numpty and ordering the wrong panel(s) they have always accepted them as returns and given me full refunds very quickly and without problem .

Phones are always answered and if they are busy they will take down your order then ring you back with the total price inc carriage afterwards to confirm the order , a quick payment over the phone later and all is sorted ! Plus they have started to do general parts etc for mini's - with the same exploded views which again - make it much easier to identify parts .

Postage is always so cheap !!! I dont know how they do it but its never a fortune and the panels comes really , REALLY , well wrapped and quickly too .

Plus if you catch them on a good day they even knock afew pounds off large orders for you which is great - saved me a small fortune on the clubman front end i got last year

So eye , great company and amazing service - i'd recommend them to anyone !!!

Sent Somerford an email with a query about one of their products and also a general question about some fittings. I got an email the next day with a thorough answer to both queries. Made my order and it arrived within a couple of days.

I find their illustrations very handy when trying to find the right product number, but I do wish they'd update their website design as it's still stuck in the 90s.

Website design aside though, they have always given me great customer service and have had various bits and bobs that other more famous companies don't.
