Hi,
Right basically im 15 and have owned motorbikes and pushbikes for most of my life and can strip both down to nothing (including engine etc) and rebuild. as a new challenge i want to buy a mini that is needing some work but that isnt too bad for a first project. My plan is to work on the car for approx 2 years (slightly less) and then use it as my car for when im 17. so basically ive got £275 ish at the moment but ovbiously have a little bit to save still. How much will it be for a good starter project car please? I dont want a heap of rust as a first one though, something that is being used on the roads but needs some tlc would be perfect. So yeah how much for the car and also how much do you think it would cost me to get it good again?
Thanks,
John

Just to say hi

Well, an early starter indeed! I reckon if you do a lot of the work yourself and source used parts etc. not much more than a grand ought to do it... you just gotta find yourself that bargain of a shell, etc. All the best though!

Welcome aboard.
Good to see enthusiasm like that
But a good road going mini for £275, might be a push..
check ebay, there are some bargains to be had there but you will need a way to get it home .. as you might have to travel for it.
good luck

Keep an eye on this one, looks like a decent enough place to start, and it is 51 quid at the mo, i reckon you could get this for your budget with change
