Has anyone bought the Halfords 5 piece lifting kit? I've been thinking about buying it for a while now, but am a bit concerned on the clearance of the jack with a mini being so low. The link is below if you don't know what i'm on about!

I bought this set, although a while ago when it was red.

It all does the job fine, but the bolts on the large wheels of the jack kept coming undone on mine so I replaced them

The crawler mat thing is quite comfy too.

I haven't got that kit but assuming the trolley jack is the same as the one you can buy separately then it will go under a mini. I have used a standard Halfords 2 ton trolley jack whenever I have worked on either of my minis. I do have a set of axle stands from Halfords and have found them a bit tall for most cars not just a mini. At their lowest the axle stands I have hold my Astra's wheels a good 4 inches off the floor.

I've had it for a while and it's very good and gives plenty of clearance though I did have difficulty getting the axle jacks under when fully extended. As above, the crawler is good too, nothing spectacular but comfy enough for my g/f to fall asleep on...
