Not for a mini but my bike, im looking to paint the engine.

I have read that some people have the powder coated but im not very keen on the idea i'd rather spray it myself what is the best stuff to use to do this? And what sort of primer should i use, will zinc primer do the job or will it crack with the heat.

Many thanks!
