My reply 'No, it was fine last night but it could have been students'
They then tell me to move it within 10mins as the tow-truck is on its way!
It had only moved a few metres but enough to put it in the middle of a main road not the safest place for poor minty, so i'll be looking to bash some skulls as the day progresses!

it might be funny if it was moved round the corner, but into the middle of the road? No.

Could be worse. I knew of a guy who went on holiday and came back to find his Westfield sitting in his living room. He'd left his house and car keys with mates and they had very kindly dismatled the car and re-assembled it in his house.

Reminds me of the story of the bloke who'd always wanted a rowing boat. So he laid down the keel in his attic and built the whole boat in there. Then paid about £10k to have the roof removed so he could get the thing out!

Although i did here that years back when someone else had a mini they lifted it up and moved into a space between the toilets and a wall so the front and rear were facing each end of the space so it was basically wedged and couldn't be driven out - only lifted out!
Hope they didn't damage it when moving it. The guy at the MOT station creased my mums rear arch on her mini when he lifted the back end as the exhaust was catching on the ramp and he obviously couldn't be arsed to get some blocks!
