the little red light lights up if the brake flued gets realy low
the switch is for testing the red light :smartass:

Do you know what fuse the switch runs on?i dont have this problem, because mine doesnt even light up when i press the switch lol, so in theory i could have no brakes lol. cooooooool!!!

Right,
The lamp should normally be extinguished.
The lamp should come on when you press the switch.
The lamp should come on when you lift the brake fluid cap (unless you have an early master cylinder) or press the rubber bung in the top of the cap if you have one.
If the lamp comes on when you press the brake pedal, your fluid is low.
If the lamp comes on when you are driving, STOP IMMEDIATELY, you have lost your brakes.
Simple.
Crocstarr, fix that it's MOT-able (but they never test it) and rather important.
