Hi everyone!

We all know Minis aren't great with speed bumps, and the other day I hit a speed bump and a bracket situated under the car (near the passenger side towards the front of the car) came loose. The RAC man said it was a 'fuel line cover bracket' but I'm not sure if he's right! He said it needs re-fitting but that I'd be OK to drive the car home.

Can anyone confirm what the bracket is, and what bolts I'd need to re-fit it? I'd like to save money by doing it myself, but I can't seem to identify what the bracket is - see photo attached! It's channelled, about 23 cm long, with a 20 degree-ish bend halfway down it.

Also if anyone has the Haynes Manual pdf link can they private message it to me?! :withstupid:

Thanks in advance for any help given!

Hey, this bracket fits over your fuel lines as they curve under the front bulkhead on the underside of the car. There should be 4 bolts that this fits onto with 4 small plastic nuts. It's important, it protects your fuel lines from hitting anything as you drive along.

Thanks for this! Brilliant! The plastic nuts seem to have gotten lost - I only have one and I think it's broken anyway - do you know where I can buy replacement nuts, and if so what part number / reference number?
