Hi,

I'm looking at buying a set of these.........

Which size works best for the type of work needed on a Mini? I was thinking 1/8th" 3.2mm since it leaves a relatively small hole to weld up.

Thanks in advance

Adam

Personally i would use 5/32 nds as they give a bit more clamping force plus the holes are still easy to fill with weld. I use a mixture of 1/8th and 5/32 skin pins and Cleco pins. The skin pins clamp better than cleco but because they have a nylon pad they tend to melt if you weld close to them.

and they work fine.

Really good for places where welding clamps won't reach. Just don't expect them to pull wayward panels together like normal clamps.

Thanks
