Single Bit From A Busted Old Steering Rack!

Hi, I need the small plate that bolts on to the bottom of the steering rack on the other end of the input gear where the column goes, if that makes sense, for some reason it is missing from a rack i have though I have the bolts.

If anyone has a rack that is knackered hopefully that bit will be available!

I've just pulled a rack of my car and chucked it in the skip.

If its still there I can send you the plate no probs

If shifty hasn't got one i've got a rack which I offered for free and it didn't go! I'm sure I can work out the bit you're talking about, then it's yours

Cool thanks guys- its a lemon shaped plate I think with one bolt either side, it must locate the other end of the pinion against the rack, dont know why someone would have taken it off- maybe I'll find out :S !
