Replacing Alternator Belt

I've just bought a new alternator for my SPI - I want to replace the alternator belt as well when I fit it but I can't see how to get the existing belt off (there's another belt which runs from the same spindle which drives the alternator belt which prevents you from being able to).
Presumably I have to take the other pulley off, but how? I can't see how it's fixed on!
Thanks for any help!

normally remove belt from pulley and slip it over the fan blades...

2 drive belts ? means that you have airconditioning....

I do have air con - it's a Japanese import (very civilised but it makes changing the alternator belt impossible!!)

I am sure that you can remove the first belt and the second can simply slip over ? can you get a photo up here ?? The last A/C Mini I worked on was an auto, but we didn't need to touch the belts, as we were fitting a new transmission.
I'll try and get a pic for you...

Thanks for clearing that one up! The whole notion of two belts on a mini had me rather confused!

I need deperate help please. I found this forum while trying to find the belt for my 1994 Mini Automatic SPI with A/C. I need the 2 belts that are shaped like a V not flat belt. All the ones we have ordered have come back as a flat belt and they are calling them a V belt. I saw where someone posted that UKR Transmissions was able to help them. Does anyone have the email adress seeing as my phone cant call the UK. I never put International calling on my phone
It is getting hot here in Florida I so need to get the A/C running. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
