i have a 1978 roundnose mini, ive been having a look at the V5, the engine number on it is completely different to what is on the actual engine, obviously this means that the engine has been changed at some point, im just confused because the previous engine doesnt have an engine number i recognise and ive tried guess-works but its not on that :S
the engine number on the v5 is 00MN1P-10203460
i wouldnt really care much about this but if its a different from normal engine i might put an ad on gumtree and hopefully get lucky if its in northern ireland
