does anyone have a beer fridge like this ..... > http://cgi.ebay.co.u...#ht_1409wt_1139

I'm thinking about buying one but I would like to to know how much noise do they make ? and how cold they can actually go.

Thanks.

They're relatively quiet and they do keep cans really cold, exactly the same as a normal fridge would :D

I have one very similar to it. Mine is made by Matsui. It gets as cold as a normal fridge and is about as loud. If you look in shops you can sometimes find some of the mini fridges labelled as a wine cooler. They are usually a bit cheaper and the only difference is one of the shelves instead of being flat one is wavy to hold wine bottles in place.

Another trick is if you are diabetic and at university fill in a disability declaration. I did and I was given a rebate on a mini fridge as they said I needed something to keep my insulin cold. My fridge currently has one box of NovaRapid, one box of Lantis (both types of insulin) and an entire box of Becks. I think there is a ketchup packet in there as well.
