Well, here it is........................... at last !!!

Having pondered which way to take this project for about the last 18 months, we have finally decided to go with what you see below.

The chassis in the picture is built for a minus shell. Ours will be a standard height shell and a little more extreme.

We are working very closely with the development and will soon be able to offer them on our web site

The rear can be fabricated on its own too, which means you can bolt it into your existing Steel Mini shell in the same way as a Z-cars one.

Very different to the Z-cars frames as well;

Double wishbone suspension

Engine turned the other way, the diff is run directly by the sprocket on the engine. eliminating the need for a chain drive set-up

this set-up allows much more room in the cockpit

Would love the R1 engine, although Dale (R1minimagic) bidded first so don't want to bid against him - have stepped aside. Ours in a long way off yet!

Joe,

More like a trip to the side - chassis is in Yorkshire at the moment. A friend of MK.

Sorry about the picture being small - I had a 5hr round trip today and forgot to take my camera with me. Photos are off my phone.

To clarify: we don't produce the chassis ourselves. We will be producing the Fibrelass/Carbon shells etc.....

There has been 3 cars built for road testing etc...

They will be available in a number of variations - dependant on what you require.

The most popular will be a bolt in set-up (same as Z-cars).

There will be a chassis built which will have a 500bhp Hyabusa Turbo.

What sort of price would you be setting the R1 set up at? Would it be competitive with Z cars, or will it be a reasonable price? :cheese:

You are running a normal rear diff then ? what diff are you using as I tried to find a diff so I could do the same but It ended up being longer and pushing my seat further forward????

Looks great by the way...

yeah im assuming your building this to take on the likes of Zcars or Tiger

do you have any ideas of what you'd charge to a customer just for a rear frame kit?

as i would be fairly interested if the price was right! :w00t:

excellent to see you on here, and i wish you the best of luck
