Will be near completetion of my dashboard build soon, and I'll need to connect the gauges I won from ebay..

First up, the temperature gauge, I'm guessing this is water temp?

Has this connector at the end of a coil type wire

Other end...

Now oil pressure, I have no other fittings/pipes included so what do I need, where does it go etc?

This is the voltmeter, i put spade connectors on the positive and negative 'prongs' now I just need to know where to wire it into?

And finally, the back lights for all of the gauges, I've tested these with a battery, they all work, so how do these wire in too? :techsupport:

All I know is it would all need to be on a switched power supply...

Did some more reading up, is it negative on the voltmeter to a suitable ground on the chassis, and then positive to a switched fuse? Just like I did my radio?

And the temperature probe apparently goes into the engine block where there should be the old temp sender already in there?

Hi Ross
I am just about to fit a volts gauge in my car and I have read up the same as you ....

Volts Gauge = suitable earth point and a switched live (so a feed that becomes live when the ignition it switched on )

Temp Gauge = the sensor you have replaces the original one by the thermostate housing screwed into the head

Oil pressure Gauge= Something like this should be what you need, there are various pipes availible so have a look around this one may not be the best ?

Hope this helps
