Yes I have had major problems with Vale Mini in fact due to a major boo boo with them fitting parts incorrectly, my car has now been off the road for 16 days. In fact I would never use them again due to damages they caused to my car including, a large crease in the sill when they raised it on the four poster damage to the floor to make room for an exhaust clamp which they fitted wrong, damage to the the bulk head and inner wing, also items fitted to the car which sort of work 90% of which are second hand, exhaust system fell off again as it was not fitted correctly. infact the list goes on. The other problem are false promises and constant lies, also i have had to drive nearly 2hours (on 2 occassions) to the garage to be able to get any form of contact as they never answer their phones.

Avoid at all cost !!!! after waiting for nearly two years for an engine i paid £1400 in good faith, I receive a heap of useless metal. Dave at Vale mini lies and avoids telephone calls. The level of workmanship is terrible and to find out he actually fakes parts disgusts me. I purchased a Slark ported head as part of the engine deal, I saw it fitted to my engine during the build, but yet upon delivery he had removed the head, replaced it with a standard metro head and stamped the SRE number himself, the head was also cracked, so absolutely useless. To be honest the list goes on and on !! I have been left with no option except legal proceedings...I have made a very costly mistake trusting this company. You must be mental to deal with this company.

dave at vale minis is a scammer people i bought a 1380 fast road engine for £1200 got it home fitted it and there was a crack in the block oil went everywhere so i called dave he told me he world build me a new one in two weeks so i said yes. i rang him a day before i was to travel from bath to Evesham to pick up the new engine and drop off the cracked one and he said yes it was already so on my way up and i get a phone call telling me his engine builder called in sick even thow the engine was ready the day before work that out i told him i was still on my way. got there the engine had just been bored so i told to give me the parts and i would swap them out for the cracked engine and he was going to transfer £300 into my account for the crap job anyway i went home and started to strip the engine only to find he has not done anything but rebore and new pistons when it was meant to have new cam duplex chain new diff pin turbo clutch and had not had the head skimmed so the compression is way out and i would have no power at all. so i went back up to dave which he now say he is under new ownership and i could not get my money back or build me a useble engine. so i would say to people to stay away unless you have money to waste
