Hi
1 I have a 1992 min 998 what is the largest valve sive i can fit without the need to pocket the block.
2 I also have a head the only identification marks on it are cam 4810 and 12d5
the valves are 29.2mm inlet and 25.4mm exh. It has some porting work on the inlet side. Do you know who modified it and what stage it is clased as.
any hellp on this will be most appreciated.

Cam4180 is the casting number for the standard 998 A plus cylinder head. The other number means nothing AFAIK, probably a batch number or something. The inlet is slightly enlarged but the exhaust is standard size, and if it has some porting then it's probably someone's "Stage 2" head but as for who did it.........??
