Hi all,
Could someone help me again please?
I have a good 1275 engine but with no carb or dizzy. What should I be looking to get hold of to make this run correctly.
The block has the number 12A2DJ01 whick I think is Spi with a 9.4 comp ratio. The head has 12G9408 on it and is the normal casting for this engine.
The block has an entry under the starter which I presume is for a sensor (speed?)
Firstly can I use this engine with a carb set-up. And secondly what carb for general motoring. HIF 38?
The dizzy bit worries me more because there are so many types out there. What would be a good all round dizzy for this set-up please

PS This motor is suposed to be going to the IMM in Switzerland in two weeks so I need the help.

HIF 38 will be fine for economy, but perhaps not best for power. And yes a 59D dizzy will do nicely.
