hi all, ive just put some 5x10s on my standard all round drum braked mini, whilst out this morning on the first run they seem to rub at the rear whilst cornering, i know about the spacered drums but do i need to replace the shoes if i change the the spacered ones? there only seems to be about 2-3mm between the damper and tyre.

But if you increase the track at the rear you should do same at front to keep the car balanced. If there is clearance at the rear when at rest - why does it rub when running ? Are the trailing arm bearings knackered - allowing the arm to move inwards under load.
