The pipes from my washer bottle (in boot) to the jets is old and blocked up. How hard is it to swap it for a new one?

I don't even know where it runs through to reach the front.

Go to a shop (hardware shop) with a bit of cut off washer pipe and ask for it.

My shops does 1/2 (massive I know but this is just to show price) for 0.35p a meter. Smaller stuff is cheaper so it will cost feck all.

As for where it runs, no idea, I'd assume in the car. Go have a poke about man.

I believe it runs up from the boot, up to the roof, along the roof, then down the pillar at the front, emerging near the scuttle then to washer jets.

I would imagine it must be pretty tricky to replace,

I have a full setup off a 98 Cooper I am breaking, give me a shout if you get stuck. It is routed along the roof channel as stated above.

Cheers guys, I've read my workshop manual and it says to tie some string onto the end in the engine bay and pull it from the boot.

I'm going to attach the new pipe to the old one (very securely!) and gently pull it through until i've got fresh pipe!

If it goes pete tong I'll just run it under the carpets!

I might drop you a PM Dale - my wiper arms are looking abit tatty with the paint coming off them. I've got 2 weeks of final year exams left, but when I get home I'll see what I think.
