Can be tricky at best if they arent reclining ones, but you saying race I take it you mean fixed back.. you can make a subframe for them to tilt on, but its not the easiest of tasks (getting in and out) either way

dependant on the seat, ive got corberau clubmans. and its almost impossible. if you have a bit of a stomach or had dignity you wouldnt be able to get in.

thats on sliders/tilting frames too

ive got reclining corbeaus (or however yer spell it) and they arnt too bad to get behind if you slide the chairs forward but you can only tilt so far because the headrest hits the roof but certainly easier than standard front seats

i have got cobra clubmans that are bolted to the floor but use the tilting subframe and it isnt impossible to fit in the back, but there would be near to no leg room and if you use harnesses there would be nowhere for anyone to sit anyways:)

I've got buckets with harness's and tilting it forward is impossible! the harness gets fully stretched so it stops the seat from going forward so if i need to get in the back i climb through the middle :withstupid:

it is do able its not impossible, unless your mates are slightly pudgy... now that's different

there my seats what i would do move the seat all the way forward and tilt and squeeze them in always funny when they get stuck :L

very annoying getting people in to the back, that's why i'm still on the look out "when i have monies" for recaro type seats

this doesnt really answer your question but i take it you are planning on running bucket seats with normal seat belts and not harnesses? are you crazy?

Nothing wrong with this as long as the strap is actually across your body and in contact with your chest waist. If you are sat back in the seat and the strap is sat against the side bolsters and not making contact with your body then you need to fit harnesses. In this case using the back seat is a no no! :)

i never would because when my bro had a crash in a corser he came forward and went to the side and hit his back on the side bolster of the seat and now has a knackered back for life, imagine how much worse it would be in a bucket seat with much harder sides

I have cobra clubmans in my mini with the tilt and slide sub frames....rear access is fine if they are slid right forward first...I have standard seat belts in and they still do the job fine!

Have you had a big crash whilst using them then? if not how can you say they work fine?
