I have 2 subframes at the moment, with a possibility to use either large or small front mounts.

The question is, is there a benefit to use the later large bushes?

I'll be going to poly or nylon bushes, so I'm not worried about ride quality, just ride control.....

Yes the large front trunnion is a lot stronger than the small one and longer bolts means more stretch so it will hold tighter, the slightly bigger bush itself though makes little difference.
