iv got available a sw5 cam, he says its an a+ and mine is a series, is there a difference in cms???

The SW5 is only made in the A+ configuration. However... that REALLY doesn't mean anything in this case. The only aspect that matters is that you'll need an A+ style oil pump to work with this. You should replace your oil pump anyway when you're rebuilding an engine. While you've got the cam out would be a good time for pump replacement. The SW5 will work in small and large bore engines A-series and A+, just make sure you buy a pump to match.
