Hi all,

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Martin at mra minis and John at guess-works for helping me rebuild my engine at short notice.

Them and all my friends all clubbed together to get my elf back on the road.

John stripped, cleaned and rebuit my gearbox, provided me with a crank and collected parts for me from Martin all within 24 hours
Martin supplied and fitted new cam bearings as well as supplying all the other goodies I needed. He then built the short block up for me..

On Wednesday I had an newly built engine that I destroyed by forgetting to clean the swarf out of a reground crank and thanks to these guys I had a rebuilt short block , fresh gearbox on my garage floor ready for building by Saturday evening.

At 23:30 on saturday night the block was on the gearbox and the flywheel was on and by 15:00 on sunday it was back on the road.

Clocking up the miles this week to get an oil change in before leaving for the IMM.

Could not have done it if it was not for these guys

Also, thanks for highlighting a job well done as we too often only hear bad reviews!
