yeh they are tex mirrors, and ive just come back from minispares with the two adapter plates (tex), has anyone fitted these before? anyone know how they work?

yeah i had them before i swapped them for my cali mirrors, u screw the plastic bit to the door wit the existing holes, then put the mirrorover the plastic part and tighten the screw that grips it to the plastic part, job done!
although, as i found, theyre easy to kick off, as someone booted mine off once upon a time!!

im confused, ive got an adapter, two bigger bolts n two smaller bolts. none of the bolts are long enough to fit the adapter to the door.

finally got the adapters fitted, the problem was the previous owner had drilled the holes bigger, so i had to use different bolts as supplied, and use nuts on other side of door, it was quite awkward. ive manage to fit one mirror, but the other mirror has lost its screw with the tapered end, so i might have to make one of those. otherwise, a job well done. next up, the arches.

glad you solved it mate... ps i had to do the same as the captive nuts that should be in the door had fallen out. used to rattle around in the bottom of the door
