I have ordered my hayabusa kit from z cars... waiting for the magic email to say its ready for collection

i have about £300 worth of goods which i originally bought from dns, as i was going to go for a pro motive kit, so bought lots of parts for the rear of the car which now are obsolete

anyway.... i doubt il get a refund so probably get a credit note, so i was wondering if there are any parts for the front of the cars running gear i could buy... i need a new steering rack so il get that.... but what else can i buy which can be used on the z cars kit?

can a mini subframe still be used or do i HAVE to buy the zcars front subframe??

thanks

You don't have to use the Z-Cars front subframe, but its something that Chris recommends, as it has better geometry with less bump steer as the steering rack is mounted on the sub frame not the shell, I don't know if the benefits would only show on the track.
Oh, and the Z-Cars subframe is really pretty...................... :D

If you go with the standard front subframe you will want something that is in good condition with refurbished top arms, adjustable bottom arms and heavy duty adjustable tie rods.
Because the front of your Z-Car will be lighter than a standard Mini you remove the standard rubber spring and replace it with the Z-Cars coil over conversion, you may also want to think about the brakes, Minimum recommended is 8.4 inch disc and Metro 4pots.
You will also need the radiator mounting bar and of course the radiator itself.

All of these front end parts I have and will be for sale soon(ish) keep in touch :(
