Hi all

After getting the weber through in the post today and giving it a clean up, im a bit confused as to how the throttle cable will be attached.
Ive taken a pic of the problem area (as far as i can tell)
http://img.photobuck...st1/linkage.jpg

I think i need an elbow thing to connect the loose hanging rose jointed arm thing to the brass coloured round thing with a thread on it.
The plastic thing above the whole lot the spring is connected to has the word Timavo on it if that helps? The pic was taken as if you were looking at it all in situ in the engine bay, the area in question being on the right hand side if looking from the front of the car.
Just part Nos. or tips on where to look would be great

Thanks
Johnny aka car spaz!! :w00t:

You need a Weber lever to bolt onto the throttle shaft & than connect the balljoint end to the throttle lever.

You need to go to a carburettor specialist to get the right lever(They come in left & right hand levers)

I'll take a piccy of mine tonight and if you want, I can also give you contact details of the guy who sorted mine out. I took it ot him and he checked out the jets to see if they suited the application and also fitted a lever. All of that work (I was there about an hour I guess) only cost me about 20 notes!

To be honest though, it's the sort of thing that any carb specialist or engine tuner will probably keep in stock.
