Best your probably going to get is the Yokohoma A032R. Its a road legal tyre but its very soft and hasnt got alot of tread.

hoosier construction isnt designed for track use, hoosiers are designed for drag racing use, different side wall construction. Dunlops are the best track suitable slick tyres as stated

Hoosiers are good for sprint and hill climb use, I know a fair few people who run them. The compounds are different anyway. Dunlops are what the migs use for circuit racing.

We tried many tyres when I was involved in circuit racing spridgets at work, avons were best, Yokohama used to be good, till they changed from crossply to radial, Hoosiers were good but went off too quick but would be ideal for sprinting. Dunlops weren't much good either. We had best results with the avons, so that's all we use now, even use Avon full wets, but haven't tried them yet as we haven't hada proper wet race yet.
