Hi, ive just started looking around for some rear lights for my 74 clubby saloon, but cant seem to find anything for the MK2/3 with no reverse in? anyone know where i can get some clear or smoked lenses or even full aftermarket units of any style really??

Pricy but you cant really find any good quality ones in auto jumbles anymore. They do pop up occasionally though.

thats the original lamp yeah, but im trying to find some clear or smoked covers for that style lamp! (or complete aftermarket jobbie like maybe these, but they dont do these for a mk2/3 lamp)

these last ones are the top bit of later ones...

mk2 lights look nice as they are, classic. I don't think I've ever seen smoked/clear ones!!

They're a lot nicer than the later ones I reckon, it's just that they don't fit
My grey/black scheme! Haha!

What about reverse? Is it easy to wire up seeing as i don't currently have any wiring there for them??

you wont need the reverse for mot and if you have the clear lenses you will never know

cant believe no-one knows of ANY aftermarket lenses or full units for MK2/3? surely someone must make something?! anything?!

im sure there is something on the market that you could spray your lenses with to tint them

This is the closest I have seen to what you require, however I have no idea where you could buy them from, I'm sure its a french company that made this lovely roadster!

They have their own online shop, however I couldn't find any clear rear lights for mk3, but surely someone must have a mould for these clear lights?




And this is a local mini which had its orange bit tinted with a tint spray...cool too
