are 4 and 1/2 full turns on a wheel stud enough to make it safe? ive just put a spacer on and not sure.
is it enough?

When fitting spacers you should always fit longer studs aswell.

how wide are the spacers? how many turns before you fitted the spacers?

they turn 7 times normally.

From a engineers point of view there should always be 1 1/2 threads showing

It might be alright 'till Friday thought - it depends really on what you're doing. If you're just showing the car (not actually driving it) then you wont have a problem - just drive the car to where you're showing it and put the spacers on when you get there.
If you want to take the risk and drive it, then might I suggest that you try to stick to very straight roads and corner very slowly if you have to.

the nuts are long ones from mini spares, the cn1 ones, i put a thinner spacer on instead and it turns 5 times by hand and six tightened. im gonna buy some minifins friday.
