Please give your topic a title that quickly describes your problem. Just putting 'Help my Mini doesn't work' is useless to anyone trying to help.

I want to install a mechanical oil pressure gauge in my '95 SPI - can anyone tell me where the best place is to run the hose through the bulkhead?

Thanks!

I have a 93 carb model, mine runs through the existing rubber grommet just above the window wiper motor, then down between the thermostat housing and the rocker cover, then down in front of the block by passing between the HT leads for cylinders 2 & 3 to the oil pressure switch. You can just make out the top half of the hose in the picture below (the silver braided hose with the orange tag on at the bulkhead end). I cannot confirm that this is the "best" or "recommended" route for it, but a standard 4ft braided hose is certainly long enough for this route and I haven't as yet had any problems since installing it this way.
