Hello!
Does anyone know how the front door cappings attach to the door?
I'm looking at doing some myself to add that bit more of a personal touch to the interior and also save some considerable amount of cash after seeing how much 'proper' sets can be.
Any advice is much appreciated.

I'll be honest and say I've never fitted a set but if I was to make my own I'd 4 have small studs going through the door with nuts on the back.

OEM ones are held on by 3 screws into the door itself just above the lip where the door card slots into...

Rears are 2 screws...

Thanks for the info.
I wasn't sure if they would slot into the edge of where the window goes into the door.
Many thanks for the pics posted as well, I can have a good look at how fit over the top of the door card.

I bought a set of second hand ones last year but didnt want to drill the doors, i covered them with some thin padding & then vinyl to match my interior & fixed them on with double sided sticky tape, had no problem with them coming loose since
