1990 Mayfair Manual Gearbox.

Clutch has recently been a bit 'sticky' when trying to re-engage.
Usually when sitting in traffic I wont be able to lift the clutch pedal just enough to get the car rolling as it will stick to the floor until I lift my foot high enough for the car to jerk forward. It also seems that I have to really push the clutch down as far as it will go to select first or second most of the time. Second gear is quite dodgy anyway and is always kicking out of second gear and crunches quite often but gears 3 and 4 are fine.
The clutch itself is only about a year old so it's not likely to be faulty there...

Any idea of the cause?
Just a bit of a nuisance really.
