Hello, Just a quick question, was wondering in you get hold of 12" inch inner tubes to suit a 165/60/12?, having trouble sealing the tyre onto the wheel.
If so were from and how much?
The wheels are brand new Rally Special wheels (alleycat lookalikes) from JBW, and the tyres are good 165/12 Yokos.
Thanks Aaron

If they are brand new take them back !!!
Most modern tryes are tubeless, fitting tubes is potentially very dangerous and should be avoided at all costs.
New wheels that cannot seal are a waste of money and need to be repleced or refunded .........

I agree 100% with Martin, take the wheels back and have them replaced.
Even if you get the proper radial tire inner-tubes and find a shop that can install them without pinching and remembers to apply talc (or whatever the currently preferred tube lube is), there are other significant issues to keep in mind. Once you fit a tube to a rim, the valve stem and tire bead on the rim are left "unpressurized". Since there is no air there, water will get into those areas when driving in the rain. In very short order just enough corrosion will happen to the rim that you can never run without tubes again. I did this to myself about 25 years ago. Now I only run tubes on the wire wheels on my Triumph.

Wasn't there a thread a few weeks back about these wheels from MWS, where he couldn't get anywhere to fit tyres to them?

Dont think you can buy them now, Health & Safety....Thats what the guy at national tyres said to the wife last month.
New tyre always the best bet.

There is no reason except if they are damaged as to why a wheel & tyre combination should leak at the seal..... however I have jsut noticed that you are fitting old tyres, it would be hard to prove which is at fault...

do you mean the tyre/wheel is leaking from the bead or the tyre will not seat onto the rim?

take the wheels and tyres to mws, they will magically geet them to fit, but you'll have to take them to mws to have them replaced next time
