Bit of a strange one but thought that Id throw it out there.
Does anyone know of any plant that the Silver Dollar fish will not eat (or at least not feast upon)? I am quite learned in the whole hobby but am having trouble with this one particular point.
Thanks
Craig

Anubias sp. is fine, I've never had a problem with that. Even with goldies

Floating plants are probably your best bet though... you obviously don't want plastic (looks crap and provides nothing to the mini eco-system that is a cycled aquarium). Like I say it depends on the mentality of the fish, I've had Siamese fighters that will live happily will an amazon sword swamped aquarium for months, and others that decide its yummy and a well planted tank can be deserted it a week or so.
Ps, nice name.

'Marimo' wont last long if they're getting through amazing swords. They'll just tear them apart in a few hours.

Sorry, had to,

Quick Google seems to show that they'll eat pretty much anything, even java moss.

and i think this is the other type ive got??? click here
But there is loads to pick from. Not sure about buying from a online shop tho, i alway buy from what i can see when it comes to this sort of stuff. if you can spend abit more and get it already on Bog wood you wont have a problem. It takes years tho for a tank to be in a place to grown plants well in its gravel/sand/stones
