basicly ive got a thumpstar 125 road ripper... its got no second gear... ive read that its a common problem and it can be sorted by deepening the pockets on the star selector .... ive checked this but no luck... ive drained the oil from it and there is no metal flake so that means to me its not chewed the gear up... all other gears select fine and theres no grinding noise.... does any of you know anywhere i can pick another engine up or even sombody that might know whats wrong... cheers all !

thats what yo get with a cheap chinese bike . there are some lifns on ebay . just get a new one chuck it in . even get a 140cc
